Underdrive pulleys

so the underdive pully is the way to go to free up ponies .. i heard up to 7hp and 12-15 tq

your right, you need like 4.88s, that would make you spin'em haha, no, dont ever do that with your height and tire size .. that would be an awful idea. lol .

lol with wut im running now i can barely get traction... i dont need bigger gears..haha traction is my enemy i even went from 265/70/17 to 285/70/17 still was lighting them up.. i have to ease into the pedal on a heavy take off..

Bigger tires doesnt equal better tracton...However better tires equals better traction.

Man thats so awesome, my tires are way to meaty and expensive to light off haha, if I smash it off a turn I can cherp'em and thats bout it haha. I wanna get some crappy tires (265s) and puttem on back just to light up haha.

check out one of my vids.. i stopped and mashed it and had to let off it before it went into 2nd gear its one of the flowmaster super 10 vids

I had underdrive pulleys and I didn't like them. I didn't notice any difference in HP. At a stop light the engine would idle really low and want to cut off. When I would back up out of my driveway and the steering turned all the way with the power steering pump all full strain the engine would cut out. 4X4 on low gear turning the wheel all the way, the engine would cut off. I have 33x15 Pro comp mud Terrain tires so the power steering demanded a lot of power. My experience and opinion, I don't like Underdrive Pulleys.
