I say almost the same thing: "Nah, I run Chevron fuel". Every now and then I end up having to explain it. I miss the old days when you could walk into a NAPA and the counterman actually knew something.

Where do I need to add the 2 cups of fluid that comes out of the CAD? Just add it into the front diff?

All I do is fill the front diff, take it for a drive and check it again.

just refill the front diff up to, or just below, the fill hole.
if its full, or close to full, that cupful will never be missed.

having the front diff completely full can cause some oil leaking past weak seals.
some people intentionally run it just a tad low, not much, to reduce leaks.

Cool thanks! I will more than likely fix this weekend and have pics up. One more thing, is 85W-140 ok to use? Lucas Oil brand good or bad for front diff?

any GL5 rated gear oil is fine (which is all of them).

gear oil is damned expensive, so if you can find it by the gallon for a decent price it might save you a lot of money. front and rear diff's take about 2.5 quarts each to refill.

its a good idea to change it regularly, especially if you drive in water. my front seals use to leak and it would get water in it, which is very very bad....

85w140 should be fine. It's certainly cheaper than 75w140, it's like 12 bucks a quart. To me gear oil is gear oil I don't really use a certain brand. Whichever one is cheapest really.

So I picked up 1 gallon of Super Tech 85W-140 it is GL-5 so it will work, was about $14 after tax, or I could have bought 1 quart for $5
