test drove a 2000 ram 2500 ext cab short bed 4x4 5.9 gaser... why was it so dam slow? are they just slow in general or does it maybe have 3.55 gears????????????????????????????

 

Its a truck, made to tow and haul stuff, not a BMW 3-Series. These trucks only make 170 horsepower at the rear wheels stock. Probably needs a tune up, and the plenum fixed, but the main problem is the lack of selecting your own gears.

 

yea im not trying to set a land speed record, what could be wrong with the plenum?

 

Plenum gasket blown out and causing a great big vac leak

 

haha ya man, quick search plenum and see it. it probably needs done, along with the regular tune up. it needs a lil TLC!!!!!!
