2500 5'' lift coil springs on a 1500

Default 2500 5'' lift coil springs on a 1500

How much lift approximately would i have if i bought 5'' lift coil springs for a dodge ram 2500 and put them on my 1500?

stock 2500 springs yeild about 1-2" of lift on a 1500. I would venture to say you will get about 6.5" lift with those springs.

measure from the center of your rim to the bottom of the front fender.

find a stock reg cab 4x4 in a parking lot somewhere...and measure the same distance and you got your answer!

If they are for a 5.2-5.9 gasser, then it is usually around 2" more than stated. If it is for a diesel, I would add another 3" or so. I have seen guys gain 11" of lift on a half ton when using the skyjacker 7" diesel coils.
