Default During Plenum Fix I Find This...

Driver's side wiring harness being melted through I think. One wire damaged and the other completely burned through. Neither are larger gauge injector wires. But I don't know what they're for. Although my headlights have been acting up over there years... Other wires seem okay and not brittle. So my plan is to just solder some donor wire in there and wrap it up tight. Unless anyone has other thoughts?

Before reconnecting the circuit I'd want to know why it fused in the first place. It would suck mightily to find that with fresh new wire in there the fault propagates to some other components or subsystems.

Well after looking at the wiring diagram I am fairly certain that the two wires go to the AC. I don't remember having a problem with the AC but then again, I live in Minneapolis and - how often do I really use the AC. So I think I'm just going to leave them cut for now and deal with it after my plenum fix is done. One project at a time.

Okay well now that the plenum is done... I figured out that the two wires go to the A/C High Pressure Switch. The LT GRN/WHT wire connects the A/C control **** to the high pressure switch, and the DRK BLU connects the high pressure switch to the low pressure switch. I don't know what all this means yet, but I'll get it.
