Default Time for new headers?

I've just got done switching wires, cap and such. I'm not completely smart on trucks yet. But, do you think it's time for new headers?

Man, everything looks so rusted, I'm afraid if I try to take it apart it'll bust on them all!

Nah, if anything the bolts might need some penetrating spray to get loose. As long as you don't get carried away nothing should break.

Hell mine look worse than that (rust wise) and are still fine with no leaks and the original gaskets. But it wouldn't hurt to replace, $15 for gaskets and about $70 - $80 a piece for the manifolds.

i found my pacesetter short tubes for $100 on craigslist.
they were bought and never installed, even left in a shed so there was a little rust on the outside, i wiped my finger on the inside and there was no soot from being used. they guy even gave me a pack of sand paper and header paint for free!

bought some mr.gasket header gaskets and stage-8 locking header bolts and have never had a problem!
