won't crank

Red face won't crank

hi , im a newbie here,pls help me with my 1995 ram 2500 v10. the red light from dash headlight switch keeps on flickering and everytime i turned on the ignition theres no crank at all. can somebody help me with this problem. thanks

First check would be the battery, and it's connections.

You could try to jump it, an easy way to confirm that the problem is the battery/charging system.

i did but itsthe same thing. its like when somebody wants to break in to your car and the alarm will activate .mine is the continous light flickering. any more suggestions . thanks for the reply

Maybe corrosion on the battery cables?

if you have a chilton/haynes manual there should be a guide for this exact problem, pg 2-12 "Starting System" in the chilton. If you don't have one I'd recommend getting one, they're only 25 bucks at oreillys or where ever it is you shop.
