Good news is I changed the plenum and tuned it up including an O2 sensor and it runs like a brand new engine. The bad news is when I took the top side apart I have probably an inch of engine gunk threw the whole motor. Whoever had this truck before me is a complete idiot. It looks like someone took a whole tube of wheel bearing grease and stuck it in there. It's terrible. I'm thinking I'm just going to run this motor til this summer then put a new one in. This one has 172xxx on it anyway. That's for everyone's input.
