Having a weird radio issue in my truck. I have an aftermarket radio installed by a good company(one of the best in town). Its been in my truck for 2years and had no issues until lately. For some reason when i turn my key off the radio stays on for half a second then fades off. It used to shut right off. Could this be the radio? or am i looking at an ignition switch going **** up? I never did pay attention if anything else was staying on...

I'd say it's not a common thing. I would guess you have a short somewhere that is still giving some power to your radio for that short amount of time.

 

Mine does the same exact thing but sometimes it stays on period and I have to play with the ignition to get it to shut off... sorry I'm no help but your not alone
