2001 5.9 issues
Whats up people. Brand new to the site but its crazy that this is happening to me me also.
I've been passing inspection by luck for two years without a O2 sensor(engine light just happened to go off) so this year I put one in. It was the sensor before the cat. Everything was fine leading up to the install. Mechanic told to drive a couple miles to clear the check engine light only it never went off. Now it sputters when I slow up and then accelerate. A couple times it stalled out when I came to a stop light. I'm so baffled considering I had no problem at all without it. I have an 01' 2500 stock with 5.9.

You're going to need to see the O2 data while you're driving. See if you're stuck @ center or whatever.
How were running without an upstream O2.... stock?

I'm having the sam prob. When I got the truck in oct it didn't have the pre cat o2. It was running fine till I installed it 2 days ago but mine blew 1391 when it started running like crap. Did yours blow any codes?
