*&T^^&R$%^ Front End
I printed this post off and gave it to the guy at the suspension shop. He spent most the day going through the entire front end of the truck including everything everyone suggested here. He also removed the arms checked all the bushings.
I am beginning to wonder if it isn't the tires (Bridgestone Dueler A/T's) and shocks (Monroe Heavy Duty Gas Magnums) even though they are not even a year old. The truck is getting the tires rebalanced and rotated right now.

A shock wouldn't cause this problem, I don't think. Noises, clunks, sure, and maybe other problems, but not the death wobble.
The tires may do it. Another idea, but you never said anything about your tires being checked for balance. A defective tire(s) or bad balance would cause symptoms similar to the wobble.

Was just finished, picking it up in 30 minutes. I will talk with the tech who did the balancing and see what he found.
there is a different front end alignment spec that is usd on these dodge trucks , the book gives a general range of caster , and camber , it is spec for the book but i think , it was on geno s garage web site of a more percise spec settings , i have a 1500 01 4x4 and my death wobble got so bad a pot hole or any type of bump would start it . the front ened at the time had all new track bar and was tight at far as bearing it had came from a maryland car dealer and they are pretty strict on things like that , but the specs we changed to took away the wobble , ! now 60,000 miles later i am starting to get some again but now have a worn trac bar and getting the wobble back , so help this helps wv ram
I haven't had the truck on the highway since I got it back. All the tires were out of balance but only by 1/4 ounce on each one.
I went out and printed off the alignment specs from Geno's Garage for these trucks. I talked with my alignment tech and said if it wobbles again he will redo the alignment to those specs and we will see what happens.

No, it did not. I found a set of adjustable lower control arms and they should be here by the end of the week. I am also going to put on a different set of tires to try. A couple of members had suggested that and that is all that is left.
I just fixed mine, I had a bad steering stabilizer. Was the best 60 bucks I have spent in a long time. Hope you have some luck soon! What a PITA this was on the highway for me. Every time I had to go over a bridge or hit wash board bumps I would be ready for a emergency pull over and slow down..
Last Update.
The new lower adjustable lower control arms arrived. I installed them and had the alignment done again per the specs I found here, Drove fine for about a week, hit a bump on a bridge on I-35 and started again.
Went to the local tire shop and had them remove the Bridgestone Dueler A/T's that were on it, not even 2 years old with only 20K on them. I had them put on BFG Long Trail T/A's. I have been driving it for 2 weeks now and I have went out and ran over every rough section of highway I can find with no problems.
