Hey guys, I need some help. My dad needs a new work truck. he wants something cheap ( 1,000-3,500). Im a die hard dodge fan but my dad has this huge problem with distroying every car or truck he owns! I dont think a hummer H1 could last half a year without him breaking something on it. I would tell him to get a ram but I wouldnt be able to take it when it gets the living crap beaten out of it. I need something that reliable and isnt going to break every week. any help would be great! Do they make a dakota in a 2500 version? I could live with that getting beat to hell. It also needs to be able to plow. Chevy seams out of the price range and I think the only other option is .... A FORD. (just kill me!) well thanks.

in the price range you are looking for i wouldnt even bother with a dodge unless you are looking for a first generation dodge, even then those are gas guzzlers, but very good work trucks. Trucks are meant to get beaten up, and meant to be abused because they can always be rebuilt. But if you are looking for something in the cheap zone try a first gerneration dodge, and i dont think the dakotas come in a 2500 as those are the full size truck lines.
but as i said before.. trucks will break a lot when they are used as a work truck, and will be abused. if hes looking cheap as you put it. try the first generation rams. years would range 1993 and before.

is last truck was a 92 power ram 150 and thats going to the junk yard in a few days. is so bad, the body damaged. the windsheild crack along with the mirrors, the 4x4 doesnt work. the frames bent, it has no muffler, cat, alternator, i would get another one but i dont no. looking at a ford with a plow. ( ahhhhh those dreaded words.) Hey at leased I can get to destroy this one without feeling bad for it[sm=shootshoot.gif]
