I just bought a new radio and im trin to install it and i bought the wiring plug to just plug into factory wiring harness. My problem is that I cant get radio to turn on. I can plug factory radio in and it works fine. I have everything hooked up right I believe. Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing what the factory colors go to? thinking about wiring it direct and see if that works. Its a 99 dodge ram. Any info would be great thanks.

might be the remote wire ur messing up, sounds like it at least.

 

I just dont understand it. All the wires are pretty much color coded. just cant figure it out. Ive hooked up alot of stereos in my day and this is the only one im having trouble with.
