Default 01 5.9 Missfire

Im about to drive this thing off a cliff. its been nothing but problems since day one. After multiple crank sensors, cam sensors, o2 sensors a tps, plugs, wires, cap and rotor I finally am no longer throwing any codes. But for some reason its still missfiring. Once in a while she runs good after warm up but 90% of the time she runs like crap. I was thinking iac but that would be at idle not 2000 rpm right? Im going to take it off tomorrow and clean it anyway. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Im running out of ideas. Thanks

maybe your wires are touching and arching. these motor are very sensitive and particular in the way you route the wires.

also your plenums probably blown sending oil into the cylinders and fouling out the plugs causing a misfiring.

and with a blown plenum comes a clogged cat which will send excessive amounts of heat back to the engine usually cylinder #8 and also cause a miss fire.

AND with a clogged cat comes bad o2 sensors which will give you horrible gas milage!

have fun and remember the truck is 10 years old and is gonna need alot of tlc to bring it back to life

If you bought aftermarket sensors for cam and crank, that may also be part of your problem. These trucks just don't like aftermarket sensors in critical locations.

I ran the wires per dodge specs. I checked the plenum by plugging the pvc valve and putting a piece of paper over the oil fill. I dont know how good of a test that is but I have a hard time trying to look into the plenum. I don't have a cat.
