Default suggestions on front and rear diffs

i have a 97 dodge ram with the 5.9 360 engine in it and i am currently putting 33's tires with a 3 inch suspension lift on it....i would like to have something that is ment for both highway driving and offroading
any suggestions will help

I assume you mean gear ratios. The general consensus is 4.10's for 33's. It really depends on what type of offroading and how much highway driving though.

3.92s are great for the highway. Sitting at 2k RPM at 70mph (real speed).

ive also heard that the off road edition came with a decent gear ratio that would work nice is this true?

off road edition came with 4.10s. good luck finding one.

cant be that hard to find....just driving around i see at least 3 sitting around

There are a bunch around me it seems like. Plus the off road eddition has a little stronger axle up front because of gusting.
