Default Projector Headlights

Hey everyone out there, I have a 2001 Ram 1500 Sport. I recently bought projectors to go with my HID's. I was wondering if anyone had projectors because I'm not sure if my HID's will fit? Anyone out there got ideas.

l have projectors, but no hid bulbs, most aftermarket projectors works with H1 bulbs and if you have the h1 kit they should work, when you install them let me know how they work I'm interested in the hid

I got the HID's to go into the factory settings and I'm thinking about getting the H1 HID's. How bright are your H1's with the projectors?

its depending on the temperature you choose, I read that the lower temperature give better visibility, and the higher is more for "looks" for the colors

the projector lights arent much brighter than stock without the HID setup..(I have them too) the main issue is all the projector lights I've seen for rams including the ones I bought have to be rewired because they are wired for the bulb that the later 2nd gen sport uses... so unless you have a sport they will not work properly...one simple way to test is turn on the high beams....if all four bulbs come on but dont seem super bright they are wired wrong.... if the two projectors light when on standard beam only and the two high beams only light when switched then they are wired for the proper bulb configuration.
BTW if you use the "search" function you will see all this has been covered in much detail before and you will find comparisons and pics that your looking for.

very true the higher color temp the bluer and less useful the light to the human eye... 6000k and below is ideal for actual light output....they are now rated properly because 10,000k is actually a very white light with a barely visible touch of blue and if you buy the Chinese 10,000k bulbs the light is a super blue that measures closer to 20,000k... I know this from years of using metal halides in my salt water reef tank...6500k is supposed to represent sunlight.

I have a sport model. Did you get HID's for the projectors or factory. Becasue I was wondering if I could use my HID's which are 9007's which are factory in the projectors. Or if i had to buy new HID's for the H1's.

you need new HID's the others will not fit and will melt the housings if you tried to fabricate something...

Yeah, that's what I thought. I just wanted to see if anyone knew if those would fit.
