Default A/C Electrical Problems

Hi, this is my first post on this forum and I hope I get to know you all better.
That out of the way, I have a 1996 Ram 1500 4x4 5.9 Reg. Cab SWB. Since i bought the truck three months ago the A/C hasnt worked. Now that its summer, it has moved up on my priority list. It's between 95-105 during the day here and I am tired of riding with 100 degree wind blasting in my face with the windows down. City driving is even worse. I am very mechanically inclined so fire away, I'm just stumped at the moment.

I'll start with what i know for sure:

1. The A/C clutch does work, i straight wired it from the wires on the clutch to the battery.

2. Freon is @ the right pressure.

3. The relay is good. When i leave the switch on and re-insert the relay, it clicks. I have also tried other relays.

4. I have jumped the pressure switches one at a time and simultaneously on the accumulator and the line on the compressor.

5. When i backprobed the connector to the actual clutch the circuit was open and there wasn't any voltage on either wire checked to a direct ground.

6. When i straight wired the clutch and cycled it using a gauge on the low side, the air in the cab was cold and blowing fine.

I know the pcm is receiving the signal because i can hear the rpms increase. I am completely stymied. Let me know what you guys think.

P.s. Hurry its hot as hell over here!!!

I know i even traced the wiring back a bit but ran out of patience. I was about to go crazy because it really didn't make sense. I checked everything 2or3 times and nothing happened. I almost want to check and replace all my fuses and see if something else happens.
