this is from a couple of weeks back. 16+ miles from the trailhead to the top, about 18 from the car, door to door... ouch (but worth it)

Is that you sitting out on the rock ede like that. Holy Crap! I fly for a living in the USAF but that would scare the crap out of me......

Something about having wings under you is ok but my fleshy butt on a rock... with that far of a drop I just couldnt do...

I have never see this park and its on my to do list for family vacations.

Nope, it is the highest prices I've ever seen here in CA and it was about 5 miles outside the park boundry.

That was Brent on the rock in that 1st pic, I posted it to show the climber below him which he never saw.

Yosemite is an awesome park, I highly recommend everyone visit it at least once in their lifetime. But for me it is far too crowded there. There is a place called the Pizza Patio in Curry Village... it was like a zoo there, so crowded it was a pain in the but to get from one end to the other just to get food. rediculious.

 

So what does gas cost at the corner station by your house?

And your both crazy.... I hate heights..... hahaha

 

gas is going for about $2.60/gallon right now for premium. not too bad but $1.75 would be alot better.
