Randy's seems to only have the Lock-Right locker from PowerTrax, and not the No-Slip, they are two different locker types correct?

Hey all, yea im still trying to decide. I guess i am just gonna wait and see what the guy tells me price point for the locker. But its great to hear what you all think, keep it coming its helping.

Also i saw that you can purchase them on carpartswholesale.com.

Also this truck is going to be my daily driver plus work truck for atleast the next 6 month. So i am trying to weigh my options on the better choice.

thanks again and keep it coming.

Lots of places to buy from. http://www.4wheelparts.com/ or www.summitracing.com or www.ebay.com

You can get the part number from Powertrax website and do a Google search on it.

The No-Slip takes more gas to make it lock. So when I go around a sharp corner at normal throttle the inside tire will spin by itself without the locker locking unless I give it more throttle which is usually too much. If I have a locker, I want it to lock if I give it gas in a corner like it should, I don't want one tire to spin. My buddy also recently swapped his No-Slip for a Detroit Locker in his Ranger and he likes the Detroit much better. Wish I just would have went with a lock-right in my Dakota, I had one in my B2 with the old axle and liked it (has Aussie lockers now, they rock), just heard the No-Slip was smoother so I bought one for my Dakota and I hate it.

okay so i just talked to the guy thats rebuilding my rearend. i have a couple options here and would like to know what you guys think.

Option 1: used lock right (used for 3 blocks and the guy that had them in turned around and took them out because they didnt like the drive)
New Carrier
Used ring and pinion $800

Option 2: new spider gears, new carrier, used ring and pinion $925

Option 3: new spider gears, new ring and pinion, new carrier $1100

all work and parts guaranteed

Let me know what you guys think of these options

thanks.

I'd say option 1 as well.

I really wish Aussie made their lockers for 9.25". I've hear nothing but good things from people who use them.
