Gears are one of those things you do not want to go cheap on. Cheap will equal noisy, royal pains in your butt later, and possibly more money later (fixing) than a good set would cost you now.

Yukon gear makes some good stuff, or so I'm told. Not cheap, but very good. Look at the website of (or call up) Randy's Ring and Pinion, they will tell you what part numbers you need.

Also, did you do a search? This topic has been covered before in various gears threads.

noisy equals gear whine, and yes, it can get louder than no exhaust. Yukon gears are the cheapest id go, but honestly, the installer has much more to do with the gears whining than MOST gearsets. Find an installer that specializes in drivetrain work and has a good rep.

And do not use a 4wheelparts shop. Dodge rearends are just a bit more finicky that a Ford or Chevy and those guys don't take the time to make sure they know what their doing.

+1 on completeoffroad.com

I've probably called those guys half a dozen times over the last week asking every question under the sun, they've been very helpful. The master install kits that come with the package are the Yukon kits with the Timken Bearings.

also found this site. or do you guys recommend the other

http://www.accuautoparts.com/list1.jsp

my plan was to get some gear. and a rebuild kit for my rear end. but if this kit takes care of that then im set!
