Default 4.11s with stock 31.5 tires

I'm just wondering if anyone is running 4.11s with a stock size tire and how you like it overall (acceleration, towing, mpg) any info on this gear and tire combo is appreciated

Stock tires were either 29" or 30.5" (depending on package).

If you want to drive in the city, it should be great, if you drive on the highway, it might be like turning overdrive off.

Look on the door jab for a sticker, it'll tell you what the stock size really is.

keep it under 70, and it'll be ok mileage.

It's not the stock size, but it is 31.5".

As for the large gears, acceleration will be great, but your highway rpms will be noticeably higher.

The RPMs will be 15% higher than they are with 3.55 gears.

So if they are 2000 at 70mph with 3.55 they will become 2300 at 70mph with 4.10.

i have 4.10s with 265/75/16 tires....i love it....i dont have any bogging problems....done lot of mudding, and when pulling people out, the tires will keep spinning....

But dont expect a huge milage increase....i still get 11-12mpg around the city...BUT on the highway with Cruise set to about 65-70mph i can get 19-21 mpg......its odd
