Overdrive problems

Lightbulb Overdrive problems

Hello i have a 97 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.2l auto. On cold start up i get a trans temp light and overdrive light as a result i have no overdrive.It is a new trans and does not overheat. If the light stay off overdrive works fine. any suggestions would be great Thanks

Talk to the folks that did the rebuild on the trans......

you should know that the computer will keep the trans from going to OD or lock-up until the thermistor reaches 60 deg. So it may be ok, just the light thing is questionable.
