Default Burnt Headlight Wiring

Has anyone had their factory headlight harness melt like this? Noticed it when I was changing my headlight switch today. I DO NOT have accessories installed or anything taking power from the headlight harness. All factory.

Yep, fairly standard. Common problem on the dodge trucks...... Replace the harness connector, and if you can, have the switch just control relays that supply power to the headlights. Less draw thru the switch that way.

Alright I just wanted to make sure my truck wasn't doing anything that wasn't typical of these things.
