Default New trans help asap

My friend has a 96 ram and he's had it for 2 years. He said ever since he got it reverse doesn't work until the trans gets warm. He said its starting to get annoying so I thought I'd ask.

Check fluid level in neutral first......

When's the last time the trans was serviced? Fluid, filter, band adjust?

He's never done it I know and I'm pretty sure he doesn't know when it was done. I just thought it was weird that it works after it warms up.

That's what makes me think it is possibly just a low fluid problem.

Holding him at gunpoint works pretty good.
