Well damn... guess I'll have to take it to a diff shop when I get a chance. Might be looking at some taller gears while I'm at it. Any recommendations?

gonna have 35's for a while probably... was gonna go with 4.56, just don't know what brand is good

4.56 is a good choice. If you don't do a lotta highway, might even consider 4.88s....

Yukon seems to be the brand of choice here.

Decided to do away with the factory lsd altogether, and go with a Detroit truetrac. Will be installed wednesday. Anyone here have feedback on the TT?

Helical gear locker. The military uses them in the hummers... or at least, they did originally, not sure what they got in their now..... mixed reviews on you-tube.

I have one in the front of my truck and I love it. Automatic lock up and does exactly what it is suppose to do and slips just enough for me to steer. I love mine and wouldn't have anything else in the front. I chose it mainly because you don't have to worry about any of the clutches blowing up and no friction modifier. I think you will love it.

Does it still spin the front driveshaft in 2wd?

You know we talked about that on here one time, but I wasn't flexible enough to drive and look under the truck at the same time! I am going to have to check that out because I've always wondered and never actually tried it. I'll do it this weekend and see if that is the case!

Probably just driving slow down the driveway, with someone watching would be good enough.
