Default Truck Skips And Stalls???

Well I changed every Single Gasket from the intake manifold gasket all the way to the top of the throttle body, i even changed the idle control valve sensor and TPS, has been tuned up when i tore down the intake manifold plugs wires distributor and the the button in side the distributor but!!!!!! now after all that work runs fine and good going down the road but when i apply the brake or even let off the gas she dies and fires up like nothing happened and it has rough skip on idle, but one thing i did notice with the TPS when i was installing it i kinda twised it to much to put it on and i hear a click or crack lol not sure but will a bad tps or over turned tps cause the truck to stall out and skip in idle like this???
