Livie, what size engine do you have?

Here's a 5.2 with straight pipes and a stock catalytic converter

You can get a straight piece of pipe for something like $10 then just cut your muffler off and clamp the pipe on in its place.

I have some more pics of his exhaust, and yes, true duals, no cat. VERY short H pipe where the front O2 sensor is mounted.

The reason I ask about engine size is because the 5.2l and 5.9l have a different tone to the exhaust.

I just have a general question to anyone running straight pipe/loud exhaust. Are there time's where you get sick of hearing the drone that comes with loud exhaust on the highway, or any other time for that matter? I'm running muffler back duals with super 40 flow's and I'm ready to go back to super turbo's because of the drone...hope I'm not showing my age by saying that.
