Default 14 x 3 S-bar question

I have been lurking around for a while, and I have soaked up tons of info from you guys. I plan on getting a 14 x 3 air cleaner tomorrow and I was wondering what the easiest way to bend the threaded bar to 3/4" offset was? I did a search and I couldnt find anything, I just dont want to have to do it more than once because I screwed up. Sorry for such a simple question.

If you have a vice, that works good. Otherwise.... use whatever ya got. couple large pairs of channel-locks work in a pinch.

A couple of screws in a 2x4 works pretty good. That small of diameter of all-thread is pretty easy to bend.

Thanks I appreciate it, I tool a swing at it, it bends pretty easy in the vice with just my hands, I just have to play with it until I get it to fit right I guess!
