My brake problems, part III!
I swear this shall be the last thread about my damn brakes....
As a quick recap, somethings goofing up with my brakes, truck will drive fine, then randomly the front brakes will lock up. I have to ride the brakes home, after it sits a bit (or if on hwy, pulling over for a sec), it clears up and drives normal.
I've replaced: calipers/rotors/pads/brakehoses it's like a brand new system... the pedal never feels odd, I don't believe the master cylinder is an issue. (fluid was never fully flushed though)
The only recent issue, out of no where the brakes started doing their thing again, except this time my CEL came on, along with the BRAKE and ABS lights, and the speedo stopped working. I've found this issue to be a bad sensor above the differential, easy fix that I shall be doing later today.

YET, I'd like to think this has something to do with the issue I'm having with my front brakes? Could be completely unrelated, yet the brakes started acting up again relative to the lights coming on.
Any help is greatly appreciated!! (like big time)

The cel and all that matches that link I posted, to the T. I have no doubt it's that sensor above the differential. I'm curious if the front brakes locking up might have anything to do with it? Doesn't make sense to me that it would. Yet odd coincidence...
Without ever touching the brakes the front brakes lock up? In my opinion I would have to say it is either a Master Cylinder problem.. Or a brake booster problem. If you have a cracked seal inside the booster.. It might be causing the brakes to apply on their own. Try disconnecting the vaccum line (and blocking it off of course) and driving with manual brakes.
It's hard to tell if the brakes lock up without touching. This happens every few days or so, nothing consistent. I can't really drive with manual brakes waiting to see if it pops up unfortunately.
I don't believe I have 4wal. All I see is the brake hose going to the caliper, no other cables/wires. Guessing it's unrelated.

Ok so turns out an adjustment was off with the rod coming out from the brake booster. I'm hoping this fixes it... we'll see if anything comes back.
The speedo sensor seems to be an unrelated issue. Easy enough of a fix though.
