Truck wont start after new fuel pump
Aside from plugging in another one, and seeing if it solves the problem. No. Not really...... (and of course, the damn things aren't cheap either....)
Where did you get your crank sensor from? These trucks don't really care much for aftermarket sensors, and contrary to a prior opinion, they will not always set a code, nor are they a work/don't work deal. They may work fine when cold, get hot, and quit. Engine cools, they work fine again. (fun to troubleshoot......)
Find out what you are missing. Take it from there.

Check to make sure your getting good grounds. Check for 5v at the crank sensor, or map sensor. Check ground as well. The VT/WT wire is 5v. Check your pcm grounds too, black/tan wires (two of them from the black plug at the pcm).
Have you checked spark at the coil?

No , I pulled the fuel line no fuel at all comming out the pump. I didnt replace the whole plastic module just the pump, could the new pump be bad or could it be something telling it not to pump?
Is that common to purchase one and it go bad right off the bat ? or can something else have caused that pump to stop working . I just ordered the whole module but I am wondering why they new pump went bad after about 6 miles of driving? Dont want to install the next one and have it go dead to because of something else?
