Default Freon Re-charge

I have a 5.2 2001 1500 Dodge Ram Which Inlet do I use to add 2 cans of freon? There is one near the firewall and one close to the front?
Thanx in advance

The low end, the fill nozzle should not even fit on the high side, and it is extremely dangerous to even attempt. Low is near the firewall. AC must be running with the clutch engaged to fill it.

are you sure you need the whole 2 cans? Be sure not to overdo it. It is very easy to do. Many guys end up with too much lubricant and not enough freon in the mix and it will hurt cooling.

if you want to really help AC temp (lower it) get a small pusher fan for the ac condenser. You will have ice cold air sitting at idle. More expensive is to get the electric fan setup.
