Lots of questions anyone with good advice help!!!!
I have a 95 ram short cAb short bed with the magnum 5.9. 4x2 Currently I'm running 31inch mud king tires getting a good deal on some 35" tires
can I clear them with a 2.5" leveling kit for the front.
Also what gears can I put I'n my rear so I won't tear my good tranny appart?
will these 35s ruin my front end? Can I prevent it without keeping smaller tires?
I'm getting 10-11mpg around town and about 14 highway is this normal ? How to fix? Gut cat? Air intake?
Hope u guys can help me with this stuff I always get decent advice from here

I put 2" spacers on a 2wd that already had a 3" body lift. It was still a little close with his wheels so I'm gonna say at least the setup I just mentioned. As far as gears, I've got 4.88's with my 35's and I love it. That mpg is a little on the low side for a 5.2. Have you fixed the plenum and done a tune up?
Tune up yes plenum no I was thinking 4.88 gears for the added acceleration but 4.56 will just cover it . What would the gas milage difference be? Iv been thinking about putting a 2 inch block kit on rear and a 4 inch spring spacer I'n front that may just clear it and if I put a 3 inch body on top of that it will deff clear one more question if I do the setup I just said 4inch grit spacer and 2 inch rear block will I need to extend anything I'n front ? And does anyone know what stock gears are I'n a 1997 2500 duelly ? Buddy of mine has a wrecked one figured it may be worth a shot if the gears will even swap out
Gears won't swap out, that's a Dana 80. You'll need new upper control arms to lift anymore than 2.5" or so, along with new shocks. I believe the 2" spacer I put on his truck actually lifted it around 3". It made a huge difference. A 2" spacer up front and a 1" block in the back with his 3" body, his truck set perfectly level.
Ok definate no go on 2.5" and 35's.
Now 2.5" in the front and a 3" body lift should clear on hard ground with the right rims, I have 5.5"s in the front and I test fitted some 35's and they didnt rub, still havent rode around with them though. If anything though some minor plastic trimming and maybe the pinch weld will fix that.
Gears wont work, different rearend like stated above, I would stick with 4.56 or 4.88's depending on driving habits

My rpm's aren't bad. Don't remember of the top of my head but I think 2k-2200 at 65. You will be good with 4.56's, you won't need that extra grunt to turn 4 bigger tires and you have less power loss without a t case.
