Wish I could afford 35's. Then I'd need a place to get some use out of them. I'll just stick with road tires for now. what did you have to cut out/change to make them work?

Learn something new everyday. I didn't know that there was a factory off road lift. Looks good.

Yep, 00 and 01 had the "OFF-Road" option. Came with a 2" lift and those 17" rims, among other things.

If it helps any, I have some worn 285/70-17s on those rims and I'm not close to rubbing anything, but I do have an OFF-Road.

Hmmm... I never looked into doing any type of lift. I'll have to look into that. 2 inches isn't enough to make my wife complain about getting in and out of the truck.

35" tires on a stock 4x4 would rub the plastic on the back of the front fenders for sure.
Good luck on finding a place to use them. The best place I know of is Uwharrie but that's an hour away.
I've heard that the pipeline halfway down the gravel road going to Buckhorn dam is a good spot but there's a couple holes out there that will swallow a full size truck so if you were to go out there you would have to really pay attention to the route you take.

Your truck sits 1.5" (plus the 2" or 2.5" for the leveling kit) higher than a stock 4x4.
