Default Best place to get 12v for accessories

I am about to install a CB and some other interior accessories. I was just wondering where y'all get 12v for your stuff at. I was debating whether to get it off the cig plug (which would be switched) or whether I should run a power block/fuse block and put it underneath the back seat and have a relay off the ignition for it to be switched. If anyone has any advice or pics I would greatly appreciate them.

i ran my cb directly to the battery so i can still use it if i dont have the truck on, also i installed a overhead console out of a 97 and wired the map lights directly to the battery for the same reason.
my fogs are also wired to the battery, and i have the switch in the overhead console.

i bought some battery post wire taps from autozone for like $3, and a couple inline fuses.

for my gps i bought a add-a-fuse from autozone, pulled the radio fuse and installed it.
now my gps turns on/off with the key.

Thanks, I saw your thread on your cb install. Where did you get that mount at? It is basically the same thing I was looking at making myself.

I had a Uniden Bearcat with a glass mount that worked great. Also had a Cobra 19 mounted next to it with a Wilson 1000 mounted in the stake hole. That also worked well, good SWR readings made for great TX and RX.
