I found this random line hanging and I can't figure out where it is supposed to go. It's driving me nuts. It's coming from the top of my transfer case and it has a metal tip. I turned my truck on and it didn't seem to be blowing or sucking, but I just want to put it back in its correct spot. I looped it up so it would show the whole thing but normally it just dangles. Thanks for any help.

 

Its a vent line. Just put it somewhere out of the way, where it won't get burnt on the exhaust, or hang low enough to allow water into the t-case.
