I just went out and looked and I think I have found the culprit! Working when you are tired and it is 12am when you put stuff back together you think you have everything right and then something rears its ugly head. I thought I had everything hooked up and hooked up right and it turns out that I didnt have the cable that goes from the servo to the throttle linkage hooked up good enough and it popped off. It was just laying there behind the linkage and I didnt see it. I got it popped back on good now and will try it out tomorrow and let ya know how it turns out. I also was mistaken and there is no nipple on the firewall on the driver side. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for all the help!!

Funny how it works that way.

Glad its fixed. Even happier you were able to fix it yourself.

I always fix my trucks myself! I dont trust mechanics to work on my trucks anymore since they messed up the front end of my dak!

I had to learn, simply because I couldn't afford to pay someone else to do it for me..... That was quite some time ago, and I STILL can't afford to pay someone else to do it for me.

I can fix about anything but I still have to get info from people and books from time to time. Then there is stuff I just dont want to do like rebuild the front end of my dakota, so I had it done and they didnt do it right and I had to do it again myself in less than a year. It is good now that I done it and done it right. I know what you mean about not being able to afford it. Mechanics charge way to much. They go by the book on the hrs it takes even if it takes 20min to do.
