360 head swap

hi everyone i was just wondering if i could take the heads off my 85 360 engine and use them on my 2001 360 any help would be greatly apperciated

I think you can retro a LA w/ Magnum heads, but not a Magnum with LA heads.. Has to do with the push rod passages or something there about.. I'm sure more info will be forthcoming from the experts though..
