O god what was it I believe I used half also to get the wire in the directions stated to pull the fitting off and tape the wires together I really didnt like the idea so I drilled a whole big enough to fit the plug in. As far as for the screws I also believe 1/8 thats in the directions for sure the hardest part is drilling the first whole and having a buddy that you can trust to help you make sure everything looks straight. Also had the DIY from the forum on my comp just to triple check everything.
I kept the fittings on and just plugged them in the wiring kit had female ends and the lights had male the hardest part is drilling the holes everything else is a gravy train.
