Default 97 ram dana 44 gears ?

I have a 97 ram 1500 4x4 and I was wondering if anyone knew if the ears were standard rotation or reverse rotation?

Standard rotation. The high pinion guys got the reverse rotation gears.

Yup, standard. Oh, and the rear is a Chrysler Corporate 9.25, only the front is a Dana 44. Just making sure you knew that.

as said standard rotation.
the only variable you have to worry about is the carrier and gear thickness.

3.92-4.88 gears in standard thickness use a special carrier.
3.73-3.55 use a standard carrier.

3.92-4.88 THICK gearset can use the standard carrier and save you the $50-100 to replace the carrier. however, the thick gearset might cost more than that.
