I don't know why you guys have so much trouble with your airboxes. I just loosen the clamp, pull off stud. Done. Then I reverse the process. Sometimes I have to press the clamp back down on the TB where it should be but geez. You guys like breakin' that stuff.

I have a 3/4 ton truck, so, mine sits a bit higher than the half ton guys. (at least, those that are still at stock height....) Reaching the screw for the clamp can be interesting..... and trying to hold everything in place, while tightening the clamp is even MORE interesting..... I need to find a better method.

Can't you stand on the bumper? Thats what I do. Unless you are too heavy, of course.
Then that might be out of the question.

I am just not that coordinated. And things tend to 'not work' for me on occasion. Falling into my engine compartment would be.... erm.... unpleasant.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Would be totally awesome if I could have it, but if the shipping is too much dont worry about it. I Appreciate the offer though!!

If your willing Ill PM you my address. I don't need the filter, or the hose thing that connects to the frame of the truck, just the box the filter goes in, thats all.

Blackbeast can have the clamp that actually secures it to the TB, Mine still works, the clamps im talking about are the ones that hold the part where the filter goes shut. If you want to ship me everything, Ill ship him the clamp, so its cheaper on you, whatever you wish.

@Heyyou,
Valid point.
It's not good on one's knees anyhow.

Try doing plugs and wires that way.

For the plug wires, I stole someone else's idea, and laid a piece of plywood up top there. Then I could lay there, and lazily change them around. That worked out really well.
