damb its like the racing striped i just painted on the truck they have me about 30ph and a stage two weight reduction. but i can say i used my tb spacer to help move the CAI back be rising the Tb. it placed it in the stock box better! and better looks when you pop the hood. but the nos is also a good point.

OK, I'm gonna **** a lot of people off, but why is it the same people whom say a CAI made a HUGE difference are mostly the same ones saying a TB spacer is the ****?

0-60 foot times...? Who is checking and with what? Felt better...So what?

I had cut outs on my old exhaust...At the Track, with time sheets after each run, the cut out's open made no differance open than with them closed...Same with a tailgate on or off...No diff. None, zero, zip.

Also....There was no diff, as in NONE when I bolted on my ZEX Nitrous plate, back to back runs within 20 minutes.

But I felt a lot faster with the cut outs open. Noise = speed to the ears, but time sheet's don't lie.

Now I need to finish up the ZEX plate install, then it wil make a differance.

Summary: A TB spacer is a worthless piece of crap.

Just for the record, and no pun intended. But I think CAI's suck too and are a waste of money along with spacers. The stock air cleaner housing is more than adequate for our trucks along with the common bolt ons.

Agreed...10,000%

Most CAIs are probably hurting the performace by letting more hot air into the engine than the stock set up, and open element filters are the worst unless you have a functional hood scoop like I do, and even then I isolate the heat from the intake. Hot air kills power.

Love to...But it's not a Ram, it's my Dakota R/T. But it's a 5.9 Magnum Motor, same motor as in my 98 Ram 2500 which tows the Dakota to the track...

http://www.nmbuilder.com/Dakota_RT_mods.html

Just let me say this...I've gone from M1 2bbl to M1 4bbl, from Fastman TB to a F&B 55x52 to a F&B 58 TB, 2.5" dual exhaust to 3" dual exhaust, gone from a Martin Saine built 46RE to a built 727, 2800 stall to a 4000 stall, swapped out 4 cams, played with the degreeing of the cams...Played with lifter preload, fuel pressure, I've driven Hemifever crazy with tunes...Had a B&G flashed PCM.....Changed out air cleaner set ups, changed out fuel pumps, ignitions...It's gutted, no AC, no Radio, no headliner. I have phucked with my truck like no one....If a POS TB spacer would give me ANYTHING...It would be on there. Trust me.
