Question hub assembly question

I have a 97 ram 1500 4x4 and my question is:

Can you repack your front hub assembly? I know the bearings are sealed but I also know there are little roller-like pins on the front half; I know those have grease can I repack that?

The reason why I'm asking is when I tried to press new studs I had tried to remove the whole hub assembly but it split in half. The first half came off (the half with the stud holes) and the back half (the section closest to my axle) stayed on and it sounds like those rollers are whistling whenever I turn hard left or right.

So can I repack that section or and I pretty much screwed?

this is the hub assembly I have

If you didn't destroy the seals on the bearings, you should be able to press it back in. Not sure how far I would trust it though...... I would be real tempted to just replace it.

To install new studs, stick the stud thru the hole, slap a washer (relatively thick) on the lug nut side, then screw a lug nut on there, and use that to draw it in. I usually buy one or two for just such a purpose. Impact wrench makes the job quick.

Do NOT attempt to repack or press the hub assembly back together. Bite the bullet(buy a new one) and look at it as a lesson learned.
