IMO if you want higher gas mileage (after reading all youve done) and have the money I would get the electric mod and do the plenum plate fix at the same time. If you pull out your fan and put the electric one in it gives you TONS of room to work on your intake manifold to pull it out (as you can now stand in your engine bay) Im ordering my Electric fan kit today (600$) from TCP Performance, they make an aluminum shroud that fits in perfect (no bolting to the radiator) has relays that plug right into the dodge temperature sensor and has the same braket for your engine coolant and windshield wiper holder. If your a DYI guy and wanna save half the price on E-fan go here
