Default New Comp cam and Roller rocker questions

I am in the middle of a 360 magnum build and need advice and info regarding my Comp cam. It looks as tho I need adjustable rocker arms. am definately going roller. And cam is .512 lift so will be sticking with 1.6 ratio as this will be a daily driver.
Question is has any one found the cheapest place to buy Harland Sharp 1.6 adjustable rockers? does any one have experience with this combo? does any one have part number for these?
next question would be on adjustment. the roller lifters are not spring loaded so seams to me without oil pressur they are not fully extended. how would one adjust these? I fear the standard crank down for zero lash and 1/4-1/2 turn will bend push rods. any advice would be much apreciated on this.

Doug

Summit racing has the pedestal mount, adjustable, roller rockers for just under 500 bucks..... Ouchie......

I would verify that the pushrod seats in the lifters aren't held up with springs.... if not, adjust to zero lash, and then back them off a 1/2 turn...... Crank the engine with the coil disconnected until you get oil pressure. Then hook up the coil, run the engine for a few, and readjust the rockers.

There are springs in your lifters, I've had one completely pulled apart. Spring is not strong, so be mindful of pushing to hard on it.

Valvetrain will make a horrible noise on start up, be careful not to rev too much until the lifters fill up. If they don't fill within 5 minutes, suspect the lash is too loose.

Try southeast performance for the roller rockers.

thanks all for the advice. Just pulled the trigger on the Harland Sharps, nothing but quality goes in this engine.
I checked and no dice on springs, and yes they are collapsed. Am contimplating filling motor with oil-filter etc on stand and prime it there for the preliminary valve setting. Will definately be priming before start so will be shut down imediately if I hear any chatter whatsoever.

wish me luck
