hey y'all I have a 2001 ram 1500 4X4, interested in gettin a lift done to it. i have 33s on it right now and I was wondering if I could get a 4.5" suspension lift and a 3" body lift to it. can you do body and suspension lifts? also what size tires would I be able to clear?

 

Yes you can run both. You could clear 37's but I'm running a 7" suspension with 35's and love it.

 

Body lifts are gay!!!! spend the money and lift if right, you'll be happier. dont forget that with the bigger tires you will be needing new gears. do you know what are in it now? i found my kit for 500 included front, rear and mostly everything for the install. idk your capabilities but i installed mine myself (with help), and saved a crud load of money.

 

body lifts are not a waste of time depending on what your wanting to do with the truck. if your going to do some serious wheeling i would not suggest it. but if its mostly a road truck, there is nothing wrong with a BL. ive had a body lift on 2 of my trucks, its a cheap way to get 3'' more inches of lift... just my opinion tho...
