Default 14x3

So i've been reading on here that alot of people prefer the 14x3 to the CAI's, im just wondering, obviously the engine will breath alot better, but will the hot air being breathed affect the performance negatively at all? like loss of low end tourqe or something like that, because before i decide between the two, i need to know which improves the low and mid range tourqe the best.

One of the inexpensive CAI's would be better for low end. 14x3 does indeed such in nice hot air. Will it be a noticeable difference though? Probably not.

Stay with the stock setup and get a K&N drop in stock replacement.

Do yourself a favor, keep it that way and don't buy into the hype.
