my 99 ram 1500, is mostly stock, and i found this on a local add
Dodge-Hughes Racing BILLET STAGE 3 THROTTLE BODY


Model HUG 5955.

my motor is stock for the most part, will this be a worth upgrade.
or just straight up overkill.

Serious overkill. Just smoothing off the top of your stock throttle body, and punching it out to 50mm all the way thru will be more than adequate to the task for the stock motor. Hell of a lot cheaper too.....

If you were building a 408, it'd be sweet! But on a 5.9 it might be a little much. Look into a 50mm or a 52mm throttle body, that would be ideal for your 5.9.

Good price, but, still overkill for your engine. It may actually give you WORSE performance everywhere, except, WOT......... Not exactly what you want.

ahhh yes here it is... would 55mm be too much? i had originally planned 53...
