i have longtubes with a cat a and a cherry bomb extreme . the extreme is si/do with 2.5 going into 2.25 i think this is small and i did this muffler 5 years ago not knowing size just bought it think this uffler is causing my high pitched raspy exhaust . you think if i threw on a glass pack i would get the deep low on rasy sound im looking for ? or should i get flowmaster ? watching you tube flowmaster still have a raspy sound at high rpms

 

Don't all glasspacks make that raspy sound? I hate them. Had them on my stang when I was a kid and could not stand it.

 

ya im thinking of the aeroturbine 3030 because that muffler is sopposed to help amplify the sound of the cam which i have 1.7 HS would sound sweet but 200+ for a muffler is crazy !

 

The glasspack on my truck is not raspy its just a 24 inch steel glaspack.
