Default Best way to remove wheel

The other day my wheel bearing and hub broke on my driver side front. There is one bolt that is stuck that is preventing me from taking off the wheel. I have tried an impact wrench, breaker bar, air chisel, and air hammer, but it will not come off. I am to the point of taking a sawzall to the wheel and just buy a new wheel. Any suggestions on getting this thing off?

There are sockets available specifically designed to remove stripped lug nuts. Or, you can try this:

Put the lug nuts back on, on either side of the one that is giving you trouble. Torque 'em down good.

Take a socket that is just a bit too small for the lug nut, use a big hammer to drive it onto the nut. Then try and take it off.

I forgot to mention that there is no longer a lug nut. It got cut off. The only thing left is the stud. I'm wondering how its even staying on.

Ah, ok, if there is nothing holding it in place, probably just the wheel rusted to the mounting surface. Hit the center with some rust killer of your choice, then, use a HEAVY hammer (I use a five pound sledge....) and whack on the back side of the TIRE, not the wheel, to break it loose.

Keep in mind, the sledge will bounce off the tire, so, be careful.

The alloy likes to stick to the hubs like glue from the corrosion. I had to do the same on a friends escape. Sledge works great, or if you have a large rubber mallet you can use on the wheel itself.
