apparently I missed the rule which indicated 'a thread begun by a poster is owned in whole by that poster and policed according to their interpretation alone'..

you want to discuss mileage with a magnum engine, but you don't want to discuss a plenum modification to address the known manufacturers weak point in engineering.. you have some sense of entitlement to attempt to make others adhere to your will.. you are combative toward other posters who, of their own volition, attempt to help you because you don't like being chided for being wrong.

most computers come with notepad.. how about you use that instead of a public forum to document your ridiculous intent of chronicling your economy without addressing a key component, whilst under the noses of folks more knowledgeable than you and I who frequent this board without the holier than thou and entitled persona?

otherwise, i'm sorry i ruined your plenumless party.. I'll go now.

zman, is that you?

what part of THE PLENUM IS IN THE WORKS OF GETTING FIXED don't you understand? why would you bring it up knowing damn good and well that i clearly stated that IT WAS IN THE WORKS OF GETTING FIXED.

and no **** computers come with notepads. unlike others here i tend to want to document things for the next person that is having problems to possibly HELP them out if they need it. seems that some are not in the same boat and just want to flex their e-***** about how much they know about trucks instead of lending a helping hand.

Intsead of the plenum you can buy the airgap read what hughes has to say....and are you just replacing the plenum gasket or adding the aluminum plate and plenum gasket, what about cutting your runners.....some even add a turtle to the plenum plate

i bring it up because you can add an efan, underdrive pulleys, hydrogen fuel cell, tuners, plugs/wires/caps, injectors, .... whatever.. and document all you want.. you may even increase your economy 1~3mpg.. and everyone will marvel.. and THEN you fix your plenum, and your economy raises to a total of 6mpg.. and nobody will know- you included- what did what and when.. or how.. or what ties with what as a direct compliment.. or what hampered what and detracted..

if it is truly a documentary, it is based on a fallacy, which takes every bit of credit from it before it even begins.

if it is a questionnaire for suggestions, it has been done time and time again ad nasium, and a simple search would have netted you hours of research material without leaving the forum..

in the end, there will be nothing to prove about your 'experiment' except the merits of having a fixed plenum gasket..

Honestly, you won't know where your at until the Plenum is fixed. Nothing else will help much until that's done.

he won't hear that X9... as is obvious here or elsewhere..

blackbeast, I'll post wherever and however I choose, until addressed by a mod..

incidentally, I have a complete manifold w/hughes plate attached for your truck.. PM if you're interested.. $150+ shipping.

you're the one taking this personally my man, not me.. each advancing post you make concerning economy w/o addressing the known plenum issue only making your position look more and more ridiculous... that one known issue effects everything from vacuum/engine load to mis-fires, to pre-det, to clogged cats, to burned out o2 sensors, to bad a/f ratio's.. but whatever..

I'll shut up about this now.. but I reserve the right to post Wimbledon updates in this thread as they occur.

lighten up man..

hey man im light as can be!

but no where in here did i say anything remotely close to "the plenum has nothing to do with poor mileage". i know it does. hence why i put that it was in the works to get it fixed in the very first frickin post. however i do know that other things affect the mileage as well.

i also said nowhere here that you aren't allowed to post. but if my updates **** you off, don't enter is all im saying
